Wiley Online Library Platform will be launched August 7-8.
“Wiley Interscience will be replaced by a new platform called Wiley Online Library. Wiley Online Library will be launched over the weekend of 7-8 August 2010. Please see the publisher’s downtime details below:
“Wiley InterScience will no longer be available from Saturday August 7 at 3am Central Standard Time. Wiley Online Library is due to go live on Sunday August 8 at 11am Central Standard Time. During this transition period, users will see a message explaining the reason for the unavailability and will be directed to http://www.wileyonlinelibrary.com/info for more details. We apologize for the inconvenience caused. This interruption in service is necessary to facilitate a smooth transition to Wiley Online Library.”
HAM-TMC Library will send users a further update from Wiley soon after launch to confirm that the site is live.
**Please note important information below regarding Saved Searches on Wiley Interscience
Wiley has notified that “as a registered user of Wiley InterScience or as an author registered with Author Services, your registration details and profile will automatically transfer to Wiley Online Library. However, if you have previously used the saved searches features you will need to reset these, once the new site is launched.
Please follow the instructions in the Services for Users link ."
