James Schafer Jr. will tackle the business of private medical practice throughout the 20th century, including the rise of corporate group practice and evidence-based medicine.
The Houston History of Medicine lecture is sponsored by The Texas Medical Center, Baylor College of Medicine, and the University of Texas School of Medicine Houston. The lecture series is free and open to the public. Sack lunches are available to the first 50 attendees.
