Science Translational Medicine
The TMC Library has recently subscribed to the newest publication from the American Association for the Advancement of Science: Science Translational Medicine (STM). Science Translational Medicine offers original, peer-reviewed, science-based research that successfully advances clinical medicine toward the goal of improving patients' lives. Its mission is "to promote human health by providing a forum for communication and cross-fertilization among basic, translational, and clinical research practitioners and trainees from all relevant established and emerging disciplines."
The publication schedule runs 12 issues per year with 12-16 original peer-reviewed articles per issue. Users may tailor the STM site to their own needs and interests by setting up CiteTrack alerts by either keyword, author or citation.
STM is available via remote access to educational users, or to anyone who physically visits the Library.
To access full text articles in Science and Translational Medicine, go to the library website: http://www.library.tmc.edu and type the title of the journal in the E-Journals (A -Z list) search box.
