New Open Journal in E-Science

The inaugural issue of the Journal of eScience Librarianship (JESLIB) was published by the University of Massachusetts Medical School in January 2012.  This open access, peer-reviewed journal explores the many roles of librarians in supporting e-Science and includes articles related to education, outreach, collaborations and current practices on data-driven research in the physical, biological, and medical sciences.
JESLIB will include special features such as book reviews and information on new technologies on subjects of interest to eScience librarians.
This project has been partially funded by the National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health, Department of Health and Human Services, under Contract No. N01-LM-6-3508 with the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
To access this journal, go to The TMC Library ejournal portal by clicking on “Find Library Materials” from the main library website and then type the journal name into the search box.
