National Public Health Week: April 2-8, 2012

A Healthier America Begins Today: Join the Movement, is the theme of this year's National Public Health Week (NPHW), communities across the United States have observed NPHW as a time to recognize the contributions of public health and highlight issues that are important to improving the public's health.

Cheryl Rowan, Public Health Coordinator for the National Network of Libraries of Medicine and who has recently received an award in the library industry by the national publication, Library Journal, will be demonstrating free public health resources at the TMC Library on April 4 -5, 2012.
