The NN/LM SCR is pleased to announce
that the Houston Academy of Medicine-Texas Medical Center Library, is the
recipient of the 2012-2013 Regional Symposium Award.
The symposium Vaccines, Epidemics and Ethics
will highlight the latest research on vaccines and their role in the
prevention and control of infectious diseases and epidemics. This symposium
will include a series of speakers, a physical and digital archival display, a
website, a print and web research guide, and an interactive quiz on using NLM
databases.
Kate Krause, Digital Projects Librarian at the
Texas Medical Center Library, is the principal investigator.
