The John P. McGovern Historical Collections and Research Center fall sale of collectible editions and other books started September 4, 2012.
There are several early editions of Sir William Osler’s classic, The Principles and Practice of Medicine, as well as his shorter monographs such as On Chorea and Choreiform Affections and collections such as Aequanimitas.
In connection with the Medical Ethics Series: Vaccines, Epidemics and Ethics, books dealing with vaccines, infectious diseases and immunology will be featured at the sale.
The sale will end in November, 2012 with books being added until then. The books are available in the main lobby area of The TMC Library, 1133 John Freeman Blvd., Houston, Texas 77030 during regular Library hours.
