TMC Library Hosts Meditation Lecture



The TMC Library will host the lecture Reducing Stress Through Meditation. The lecture will be presented by Mr. William Smith on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at noon in the library’s Street Level Conference room.

Mr. William Smith, retired Army Lt. Colonel, will discuss the extraordinary effect of meditation to reduce stress-related responses, improve concentration and enhance clarity of thought and mental equilibrium. He will also present a meditation technique that can enrich one’s life personally and professionally.

Come Celebrate the Holidays at the TMC Library

Join us on a new TMC Library holiday tradition. Every year, librarians and staff of the TMC Library, build a “Bookmas Tree” from books available in the library, and invite visitors to stop by the library’s first floor to admire this work of art.

This year, we would like to MAKE A NEW HOLIDAY TRADITION. WE INVITE YOU TO JOIN US to share some refreshments, win door prizes, check out your library, take a tour, or just visit.

Celebrate National Medical Librarians Month



Join us at the TMC Library Tuesday, October 30th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm to celebrate National Medical Librarians Month.
Attend one or two of the following 30 minutes demonstrations and be eligible to enter a drawing for a Kindle Fire.

How to track your publications using the library’s Scopus database; find the Impact Factor of a journal using the Journal Citations Report database.
